Malakai's 1st Christmas!

I have one, very, very spoiled baby! He LOVED Christmas. Even though he has been sick with a nasty runny nose, he still enjoyed himself.

6 months!

Malakai is 6 months old. I cannot believe in just another short 6 months, my baby will be 1! Time has really, really flown by. Much quicker than I like. I love this little man to pieces and am so glad to wake up to his smiling face each and every morning. He is such a happy baby and I love watching him grow. 4 Month check up:

17 pounds 3 ounces. YES he is HUGE
25 inches.

We are slowly starting him on rice cereal to see if that will help with his barfing. So far, no such luck.

Malakai is now 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days. He is my pride and joy and I live for this little boy!

Never find a love like this

So for about the last hour, I've been reading the blogs of the lady whos little 14 month old daughter drowned in their hot tub. Seriously brought tears to my eyes. Just thinking "what if" that ever happened to me. It makes me want to break down just thinking about anything ever happening to Malakai. In a short 9 weeks, i've fallen soo in love with this little boy. He is my life. I live for the little guy. When people told me that being a parent was the best feeling in the world, they were 100% right. Just looking at him brings a smile to my face. I love watching him smile and hearing him "coo." I feel as if I have everything I could ever possibly need in life. I want him to stay tiny forever, but I can't wait for him to grow and learn and become an amazing person that I know he will be. I want to give him the best of me and be the best mom I can. I want him to have the best life possible. I couldn't love my husband and my son anymore than I already do. They make life worth living. I'm so greatful to have such a wonderful family and life.

Utah Trip

The last 2 weeks we have been in Utah and have been having a blast. It is really going to be super hard to go back to crappy North Carolina!!

The Sherwoods

In the past year, i've gotten married to the most wonderful man alive and had the most beautiful baby! Most of you would know me as Chelsea Wandell, but it's now Chelsea Sherwood. My husband, Tobias, is a firefighter in the airforce, which is why we are stuck in horrible North Carolina! But we're making the best of things but still hoping to get out of here sometime soon. I gave birth to Malakai Raymond Sherwood on June 6th, 2008. Weighing in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and 19 inches long. He's only 5 weeks old and i already can't picture my life without him!
