New post!!

We finally moved off base! Into an adorable house, with lots more room! I love it! I will add pictures as soon as I get things unpacked and cleaned! Here are some pictures of Malakai for now :P

I'm a slacker.

I have totatlly been slacking on updating this thing. Well we are still in Utah, and I have NO idea when we will be back in North Carolina. It could be as soon as July 15th, or as late as sometime in August. I hate this waiting game called the military. Malakai is FINALLY walking. He is so smart and fun to watch. He loves to climb onto his little horse and just rock. He also likes to climb onto his little tricycle and ride it around the house. My mom, aunt, and I took a road trip to Washington to see some family and friends a few weeks ago. Malakai did AMAZING both on the way there and the way back. I was so proud of him, and he made the drive so much more relaxing. Other then that, not too much has been going on. Besides that we miss Tobi and can't wait for him to come back home. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.

I have a 1 year old

Malakai turned 1 yesterday, and I can't believe it! We celebrated with friends and family and had a fun party for him. Even though he was tired and grumpy the whole time. We just wish Tobi could have been here, we miss you Daddy!!

milk!

I decided to try to start whole milk with Malakai, since his birthday is in 2 weeks. We gave him a sippy with it, and he loved it. Made a few funny faces at first, but then drank the rest. My only concern is him maybe being lactose intolerant. He has been on soy formula since he was a month old because the milk based formula made him projectile voimit. So cross your fingers he does well with the whole milk!

My baby can...

Stand up all by himself!! He was sitting next to me on the floor tonight, and I was talking to Tobi, and I looked over at Malakai and he was just standing there! Then he continued to do it several more times. He even let me snap a picture!

Grandma and Grandpa Wandell bought Malakai his very first wagon! He loves it! If you listen closely to the video he puts his finger in the hole and says "uh oh" So cute!

A little update

We just got back from our amazing trip to the Bahamas. We had a blast and can't wait to see all of my family again. It is always a blast when we are together.

Malakai is now 11 months old. I cannot believe in just one short month he will be one year old. Time really goes by too quick. He is the best baby I could have ever asked for. He is so incredibly smart and always puts a smile on everybodies faces. He is the biggest flirt ever, and has the longest eyelashes in the world. He melts my heart and I cannot stop kissing him. He is into everything and should hopefully be walking here soon.

I am hoping to get on here and update more often, now that my amazing friend Brooklyn showed me a few things :) Things here have just been a little crazy, and are about to get even crazier. Malakai and I leave for Utah on the 20th of this month, and very shortly after we leave, Tobias will be deloying for a few months. So we are hoping to catch up with some family and old friends while we are there over the summer!

Well, I officially cloth diaper! I love it! The diapers are so cute and Malakai seems to love them too. Every time I put him in one, he poops!
